Email & WhatsApp distribution list

Looking to get in touch with other NwT students? To join the NwT mailing list and the NwT WhatsApp group, please contact the student assistant. Here you will also find information on all activities related to NwT studies, for example.

There is another mailing list Lehramt@KIT for all teacher training students, which provides information on general teacher training topics and activities such as stays abroad and information evenings. The Center for Teacher Education strongly recommends that all teacher training students at KIT subscribe to this list, as the ZLB also regularly sends out information via this list.

Instagram

The NwT Instagram channel regularly shares exciting topics and insights into the NwT degree program. To follow this channel, simply use the link in the footer.

ILIAS for NwT

There is usually an ILIAS course for each course every semester - but we also have a lecture-independent ILIAS course for all NwT courses. There you will find, for example, frequently asked questions and answers on NwT and many other helpful tips on studying NwT. To register, please contact the student assistant.

Social Events

We usually meet once a semester in a relaxed atmosphere. This can be anything from a guided tour of the construction site of the underground tram in Karlsruhe, a guided tour of the Hoepfnerburg, a visit to the Experimenta in Heilbronn or a meeting in a beer garden. Suggestions for future meetings are always welcome Please send your suggestions to the student assistant.

Alumni NwT

There is currently an alumni group to keep in touch beyond the NwT program. This can be used, for example, to exchange information on traineeships and entry into the teaching profession, jobs for NwT graduates or teaching materials. To join, please contact the student assistant.

Mentoring NwT

Mentoring@Lehramt is a program in which teacher training students from higher semesters support their fellow students from the first semester and thus make it easier for them to start their studies. Furthermore, it offers an excellent opportunity to get to know new fellow students and to promote networking within the NwT students. The mentoring program is organized by the Center for Teacher Education.

NwT BW Association

The NwT BW association offers an exchange between teachers, teaching materials and much more. Membership as a student is free of charge.
